Wilco, a well-funded stealth startup, is looking for a Head of Marketing to help bring to life their mission of empowering developers, regardless of their background or skill level, to unlock their full potential. Wilco was founded by three seasoned entrepreneurs with vast experience in building engineering teams and up-skilling them, and is looking for the next key member of their executive team. If you’re a product-led, consumer-obsessed, community-driven, creative marketer with a deep understanding of developer personas, keep reading. The perfect candidate is a strategic storyteller who knows how to create communities from the ground up, can ideate, initiate and execute a cross-platform global marketing plan and knows how to hire and build a killer execution oriented marketing team. What will you be responsible for? - Recruit and lead a diverse results-driven marketing team - Create short term and long term goals, the data to track them and the plans to execute them - Build and execute a cross-channel GTM plan - Define and manage the marketing budget - Build the brand identity with a lot of creative storytelling - Develop and harness an engaged developer community - Own product marketing - Provide key insights into the product including its viral loops - Evangelize the developer community and synthesize feedback to product - Create engaging and converting creative content that brings the product to life - Create partnerships with strong engineering brands.
