The position:
We are seeking a Delivery Manager to oversee the successful deployment and installation of our technical IT infrastructure and services. The Delivery Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that our solutions are implemented effectively, meeting client requirements, and delivering a positive customer experience. You need to demonstrate versatility, by being well planned but also willing to go on site from time-to-time to resolve issues directly.
A day in the life:
- Work with the Senior Project Manager to coordinate and manage the end-to-end deployment and installation process of our infrastructure and services at client sites
- Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and technical teams to understand project requirements, scope and timelines
- Allocate and manage resources effectively, including installation teams, equipment and logistics, to ensure on-time and accurate installations
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate installation requirements, potential challenges, and technical considerations
- Monitor installation progress, prepare to be responsive and address any issues or delays promptly to ensure installations stay on schedule
- Collaborate with clients’ contractors to ensure all necessary equipment, tools, and materials are available for installations.
- Provide on-site training and demonstrations to clients on how to use and maintain the installed products, and act as the main point of contact for them
- Maintain accurate documentation of installation processes, issues, and resolutions for future reference
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather post-installation feedback and insights to improve installation processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction
You bring to the table:
- 1-5 years of experience in Project management roles or similar roles
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Good Excel / Google sheets skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex technical systems and requirements
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to unexpected challenges during installations
- Willing to travel to client sites and travel internationally from time-to-time
Nice to have:
- Experience in project management, logistics, or technical installations
- Appreciation of Project Management methodologies
- Speaks other foreign languages
- Understands or has experience in the retail industry
- Data analysis skills
