The position:

We are looking for a motivated assistant controller to join our Finance team.

As an assistant controller, you will be responsible for coordinating with various departments to ensure proper accounting treatment and support the company’s growth.

A day in the life:

• Significant role in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process, including consolidated reports in accordance with US GAAP
• Take an essential part in managing  international subsidiaries’ accounting processes and deliverables 
• Work with external auditors and advisors
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Take part in the group’s consolidated financial statements, as well as the statutory reports and tax reporting and filing including international subsidiaries
• Participate in global procurement processes including inventory accounting
• Research and analyze complex accounting and financial issues, assist with implementation of new accounting standards
• Work closely with functions across the organization and support decision making
• Take active part in process improvement and implementations of new systems
• Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting policies, tax regulations and internal controls to comply with legislation

You bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Certified CPA from one of the Big 4 accounting firms – at least 1+ years after internship
• Hands-on accounting experience, including US GAAP knowledge 
• Strong accounting fundamentals knowledge
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong English skills - both oral and written
• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, meet tight deadlines and multitask
• Team player who can also think and work independently
• Eager to learn, with a self-motivated personality

Nice to have:

• Prior experience in high-tech/start-up company 
• Familiarity with ERP systems 
• Netsuite experience
