What You'll Build:

• Real-time messaging infrastructure handling tens of millions of messages

• Distributed systems with Elixir and Phoenix LiveView

• Clustering, presence, and fault-tolerant architecture

• Backend-driven reactive UI (no API glue between frontend and backend)

What You'll Own:

• Core platform infrastructure end-to-end

• Scalability and production reliability

• Real-time system performance

Requirements:

• 7+ years building distributed systems in Go, Rust, or C++

• Deep networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, protocol design)

• Deep understanding of multiprocessing/multithreading

• Open to learning new technologies - you'll be working with Elixir

Nice to Have:

• Real-time systems at scale (messaging, presence, streaming)
