As a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Retrain.ai, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients. Your primary responsibility is to generate new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying prospects. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual looking to start or advance their career in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation:
    • Research and identify potential clients using various tools and databases.
    • Generate and qualify leads through outbound cold calls, emails, and social media.
    • Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.
  2. Prospecting:
    • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and client needs.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
  3. Qualification:
    • Engage with prospects to understand their business challenges and needs.
    • Use established criteria to qualify leads and determine their potential for conversion.
    • Conduct initial discovery calls and assessments to gather relevant information.
  4. Relationship Building:
    • Develop strong relationships with potential clients to foster trust and credibility.
    • Maintain regular follow-up with potential clients to keep them engaged.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
    • Provide feedback on lead quality and effectiveness of outreach strategies.
  6. Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
    • Provide regular reports on lead generation and qualification metrics.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 4 + years Previous experience in sales, Tech product B2B.,.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
    • Ability to handle rejection and persevere.
    • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools is a plus.
